I believe Flip Phillips lived his last decade or so in Florida. An excuse for some fiery Perdido arrangement maybe? Also Herman's "Lost Weekend" and "1-2-3-4-Jump" is by Flip, I think.
It may seem odd to you, but I would have stayed in Israel. Sure, a couple of years in Tuscany, Provence, SF or Sidney would be a nice change of pace, but I believe I will return here evenually.

Golson was ok, not great. I wish he played as much as he talked. The trumpeters outshone him for sure.
