This is certainly one of the more interesting records I've heard from a "young player" in quite a while. The liner notes are a straight-up church tract! And the music flows, endlessly. Humble, but not meek. Quiet, but not insubstantial. Strong, but not overbearing or egotistical. If this one's not yet on your radar, perhaps it should be?

I listened to it for the first time yesterday, it certainly has something to it. No liners for me.  I never completely warmed to his previous leader dates, they had flashes.

He can be heard to good effect with Mazurek

Three's liners in the front sleeve of the one I got. Disc in one, "pamphlet" in the other. You'd miss it if you weren't looking for it, I suspect.

Thanks, I was streaming it

From the Miles Complete Columbia box

Bought it for a lot of money when it came out, Japan import.

This was the time when we boys at school would imitate Miles during intermission. Some guys laying percussion patters on the school desks and one imitating the wah wah sound, making a little pantomine as if playin a horn and wearin huge sun glasses. We all bought those kind of sunglasses.

We all had Agharta , and some guys who were a bit older and more insiders said "yeah, but do you have Pangeea"  I was the first in my school class to have Pangeea.
