RIP.  When I lived in Spain, we would hear his latest songs.

A great artist! R.I.P.

Couldn't help but order the CD with the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra.

Can never remember a time when he hasn’t been around, on TV or radio.

A great innings. RIP.

Le roi des chansonniers! La tristesse et la passion vont de pair.
Merci à un grand créateur! Qu’il repose en paix.

I was reading Aznevour's obit this morning silently, and I quietly said aloud, "France's Frank Sinatra."  My wife heard me and replied, "I thought it was Francis Albert Sinatra."

RIP.

Did Frank Sinatra write his own songs???

Aznavour, best known for songs in his native French also sang in English, Italian, Spanish, German and Armenian, selling more than 180 million records.  His personal style was that of a crooner, backed by a jazzy big band, and singing of love and nostalgia.

RIP, Charles.

(The last of the troubadours). Thanks for your music ....
