O.K.  As the old saying goes, "Different strokes for different folks."   

I actually don't care for this album. It lacks all the main features that makes Hawes a jazz pianist I like very much - hard swinging with a strong blues feeling. Just checked and I have 12 Hampton Hawes albums (Contemporary label) on my shelf. I prefer each one of them to "High In The Sky" .
