Here's the booklet for the Complete Decca Sessions: https://musicbrainz.org/release/ba5d4236-388e-4dc8-9adf-ed38c4c08b69/cover-art . The set is sold as a (cd quality in some places) download under the name The Decca Singles.
I got a complete copy of the box set on ebay in 2022 for $127.
Track 1 does not include Dave Stryker.
Track 2 was previously identified as Walt Dickerson playing God Bless the Child.
Track 4 was previously identified as Gigi Gryce playing The Rat Race Blues.
Marty Ehrlich is not present on Track 5.
Art Taylor is not present on Track 7.
Track 8 is not Buddy DeFranco.
Impressions without looking at others' comments:
Track 1 is Smoke Gets In Your Eyes. I want to say Dave Stryker but I don't think he's recorded this tune before. So probably not him.
#2 is the man Walt Dickerson and his version of God Bless the Child from the To My Queen album.
I've never heard track 3 before. Guitarist has a bluesy feel.
Track 4 I have and it's driving me nuts that I can't think of it. Pretty sure it's the sax player's date.
Is that Ehrlich on bass clarinet for #5?
6 is a good tune but I can't name it or the players.
Sax player on 7 has that old school vibrato style. Is that Art Taylor on drums?
Clarinet on 8 is on the polite side of the instrument, at least for most of this song. DeFranco?
Live marimbas on 9. Great touch but no ideas.
Love the playing on #11 but no guesses. Bassist style stands out as someone that is well known.
Trumpeter on 12 is pulling off some nice runs. Drummer is pushing them as well. This is a band I'd love to hear live.
Reading comments, Clark Terry on 12 makes a ton of sense. Great playing.
