Now I was thinking of another cup of coffee, so I put on Bob Dylan’s “Desire” Mobile Fidelity Lab SACD.

CDs. The Billy bookcase holds 6 CD inserts. Each insert was $30 CAD but was discontinued 10+ years ago. Each insert holds 136 standard jewel case CDs and a fully loaded bookcase with 6 inserts holds 816. It was a great product and looks like custom shelving.

16 degrees this morning. That’s a better start than yesterday. Still cold–was out re-arranging cars so that the water softener tech can fit his truck in the driveway, he’s due soon. Are those CDs or LPs?

I am a huge Jackie McLean fan and never understood why this one has such bad rep. Love it and I especially think his style blends excellent with Rashied Ali’s drumming.

I've known him since his first releases on ECM in 1973 – his records are on my shelf. On November 11, 2016, he performed at the Göttingen Jazz Festival with Paul McCandless and Mark Walker ('Oregon'). R.I.P.
