  1. Used to be a distributor of Herwin - great label. Unfortunately I sold all my lps to generate cash for the Art Ensemble set. I don't remember a booklet for the wonderful Thomas set - just the inner part of the jacket, though it might have been multiple pages stapled in.

  6. smart scanner that can develop negatives! I have a Nikon scanner to do this. Not a problem. Thanks to Mark Sheldon for the advise.
  7. I have a bunch of images I took in Rudy's studio. One is inside the "Spirit Catcher" cd and the bulk of the rest are still in negatives. Some day I will put my scanner to work on them.

  9. Agreed. I loved the dog in the Elmo Hope cover. The dog from the real cover belonged to the Van Gelders. I forget the name.

  16. I "inherited" 12 of these boxes going from 1930 into the '50s. I have not spent much time with them but all include interesting looking books. Time Life spared no expense in the Giants series, so I expect the choices are apt and the sound to be excellent.
