  1. When I recorded there, they had at least 9 Steinways. A couple in the main room and others in storage down the hall. I have photos somewhere.
  2. I think there is a brand new DeSoto behind door number 2.
  3. Well, good for you.
  4. You have no idea. Last week I spent 11.5 hours cleaning up about 15 minutes of music and upon listening to the results, at least one third of it needs to be done again. I have 2 more days booked to correct the problem. All this for stuff available for free download on the "blogs".
  5. Charles Tyler's Saga of the Outlaws. Comparing the RVG mastered lp to my new digital transfer. Please excuse the plug and buy the cd when issued.
  6. Do they still have Strombolis at Nicks? Can you still smoke in Bloomington bars? Did Barak light up?
  7. Just checked and seem to have 7 issues. The issue with Rollins on the cover includes a nice session photo (spread across 2 pages) from the "Contemporary Leaders" date.
  8. Hope you had a great day and have a great year in front of you. Sorry I missed "the day".
  9. Back just in time for me to say "good night".
  10. I was really more impressed by Sam's chops over the last time. The charts were wonderful. But she was sexy too. Don't forget about the 2 "frat guys" named Sam and Toby.
  11. In addition to your instrument, bring some animal costume. Another bunny outfit would be amusing.
  12. I go to craft fairs every summer.
  13. Dare I say - only better if those three things happen 11 times in October. Correct, but fun in April.
  14. I heard he died.
  15. Went to a Cubs game on Sunday. Zambrano got his first win, Lee and Soriano hit homers and Wood closed 'em out. For a Cub fan, it don't get any better.
  16. Look out!!! They are airborn!
  17. You were planning a bank job?
  18. Anthony Braxton Quartet (GTM) 2006 in the mail today. Received the Iridium set last week as well as advance copy of Art Ensemble of Chicago with special guest Fred Anderson Peace Be Unto You - Live in Seattle - two discs. Lots o' listening to do.
  19. Some really interesting music, excellently transferred and documented in a Bluebird series titled "When the Sun Goes Down".
  20. Things have slowed considerably. I admit to being nervous about my future releases.
  21. So, in a few years folks like Parkertown will spend money on recreations of the internet. And Clifford Thornton will point out he got an original used copy for less money.
