  1. fine, but not a really good exhibition of his talents.
  2. That's how some Americans identify the creeps.
  3. Sorry, I don't have any substitutes. Long form interviews should be revealing but Mr. Smiley seems unprepared (or uninformed) as well. While watching a Rose interview I always have the feeling he's working from a series of questions prepared by "staff" and doesn't have a clue about the questions or answers. Many times his follow-ups reveal this.
  4. I'm sure you file yours by corporate entity. I'd be curious which manufacturing country is positioned first within this system.
  5. How the heck does one interpolate an appearance on Charlie Rose into anything positive? Rose seems to be THE biggest phony on American television. Sometimes his interviews are good comedy.
  6. Strange reaction to a post beginning "On a serious note".
  7. Currently 53 and rising in (extremely) west Michigan.
  8. I imagined her clapping along with an Arnett Cobb performance.
  9. All the material is on the 2 cds. 35 tracks lasting over 111 minutes. Vol one has a bonus track from the early sessions and the second disc contains the two later lps.
  10. I'd have rather "shanked" Shank.
  11. Looks like you be all alone out there.
  12. I'll be really impressed when I read you've doubled your current age.
  13. Would be helpful if you could point out the difference beyond "needles" and auditory recognition.
  14. Thank God for Dr Phil! Now I can sleep tonight. Anybody know if Opra has booked a flight westward?
  15. You accept either LP or vinyl?
  16. I have a US BMG/RCA issue of Strictly Powell from 1995.
  17. FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! The RCA is Jack Montrose, not JR Monterose. Two very different players!!!!
  18. I said that "I already had a lot of CRI things..." -- bought over the years at regular prices. I should then buy none when they're remaindered at Berkshire? I'm an experienced "bottom feeder" too.
  19. At best Peter seems to be growing sideways.
  20. Heartwarming to see all these folks picking over the remaindered music.
  21. It was available on the vinyl version of The 78 Era and is currently available on the Classics disc 1950-51.
