  1. I have that music in this form
  2. Revisiting an old and trusted friend.
  3. Two caveats; The first Duke box repeated an editing error in Such Sweet Thunder and the 2nd Ellington box stopped 2 titles short by ignoring All American In Jazz and Midnight In Paris.
  4. Nils Winther set up Stateside (to distribute SteepleChase) in Myrtle Beach where he has/had a vacation home.

  6. Interesting to read this thread again. It reminded me to listen to this fascinating collection -
  7. Time to block Georgia Russell or I am out of here. I am tired of her, and her cigars stink.
  8. Rusch hasn't been involved for a number of years.
  9. It was John Wright and he recorded his "Nice 'n Tasty" date the next day.

  17. I worked on this reissue and was not credited. Sigh.
  18. Discovered today I had 2 Out to Lunch cds and wondered why (old guy brain fart) so I put each in the cd deck. After comparing the first 40 seconds of the first track (Hat and Beard) I understood the reason for keeping the RVG. Rudy's focus on Tony's cymbals won the war. Not even close.
  19. Might be better than a threemor.
  20. More than nice. Thanks for posting.
  21. Not sure if it has been mentioned but the full Bags Groove date is included in and this is a handy compilation
