  4. A frequent "fall back" lp. Nostalgia lives.
  5. The CD is complete. Still have an original "Glass Bead Games".
  6. Can't explain it, don't understand it and happy to settle for an inexpensive cd with no surface noise. Edit to say I bought the lps as a new release and it has gone away.
  7. The original chamber version of Appalachian Spring
  8. Stolen from a FB post.
  9. Incorrect. It was recorded for Columbia and produced by Irving Townsend on July 14, 1960. I have a Columbia lp from 1979. Nice record. How in hell does this wrong info get spread.
  10. Jason Stein, Damon Smith & Adam Shead
  11. A well done survey of the label - this volume covers 1947-56.
  12. Haven't played this in a while. My bad.
  13. Curious - it has been 3 months and 22 posts since anyone else posted on this thread. Why keep this up? Do you get paid for posts like this and other PR messages?
  14. Haven't dipped into this is years.
  15. Started making a list and got over 30 both active and inactive. Damn. Thanks. Luckily, never met anyone at a model train show. I must say I first misread the topic and thought it was "Members Met In Prison" and TTK was the only one.
  16. Disc 13 1. I'll Never Smile Again 2. Strange Meadowlark 3. It's The Talk Of The Town 4 Thanks For The Memory 5. Way Out West 6. Peggy's Blue Skylight
  17. And John Cassavetes "Shadows" with a dandy Mingus soundtrack seems to be on HBO Max. I saw it in a theater in 1962 and have never forgotten the film. It is a wonderful mess. Hope to see it again this weekend.
