Funny, I was scanning my spam folder and found a Borders email in there. Seeing yet another coupon for a specific book, I was just thinking about posting a similar message. I guess Borders is giving the coupons a rest. Maybe a test? I know my purchases at Borders have dropped off quite a bit. Partly because I've just about picked over the jazz section at both stores and CDU/Concord/Mosaic are getting most of my business lately. The 5% (holiday) bonus is nice. I've got a little of $30 in my "account".

Parkertown is talking about these. I remember when they first started coming out. They were about $25. Now most of them are a bit more reasonable at $13-17. I have a few, but honestly like my SACDs and DVD-As they just don't get as much play as good old fashioned 2-channel redbooks.

Anyone know how long the Concord sale is going to last? It's a safe bet the market is going to be flooded with non-K2 editions as soon as the sale is over. They are already pretty cheap based on quick review of Amazon.com

CDU is now showing a release date of August 15th instead of the 1st. Can't really complain after the Concord sale.... that should put them on a different billing cycle.

I just received a shipping notice (email #3) for my first order (5527) placed wednesday morning. I have a Fed-Ex tracking number. I never got email #2 for this order. I received an order confirmation (email #2) for my second order (5787) that shows a shipping date of 7/19.

Order #5527 - no confirmation - and not processed (says Concord). Just called Concord. The guy said all orders take 5 to 7 business days to process. He also said there are 3 emails. 1 to confirm receipt of order, 1 when order is sent to warehouse, 1 when order is shipped (which will have a tracking number). I asked how orders are processed and he said in the order they are received. I'd be curious to hear the status of an order for which one of these 2nd emails has been received. Sounds like they are filling orders based on size and not by when they were placed. I placed my order Wednesday morning and haven't received a shipment notice yet.
