  1. And what about my driver's license? Look--you stay at my house, a few personal items go "missing." That's just the way it works. So what's the big deal?
  2. DAMN. I spent 4 whole days walking the streets of Philly with Allen, and he never ONCE ran into Julianne Moore--nor she into him. We did, however, try our best to run into Astrud Gilberto.
  3. When's my Level 12 order going out? And when are you going to cash my $100,000 check?
  4. So much for the 4 fun-filled days you recently spent in Philly.
  5. How much will it save on shipping if you leave out the moans, groans, and squeals?
  6. Does everyone have me on ignore or something? Trust me--this site will work: http://www.joshhosler.biz/numberOneInHistory/selectMonth.htm
  7. Again, this site goes all the way back to the 1890s: http://www.joshhosler.biz/numberOneInHistory/selectMonth.htm
  8. Me too. And I think it would have been interesting. Try this site: http://www.joshhosler.biz/numberOneInHistory/selectMonth.htm It SHOULD cover most organissimo members--goes back to the 1890s. Not sure that's far back enough to cover Allen Lowe, however.
  9. Dude! It's a doo-wop classic! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yh_mh0lv_Yg...feature=related

  12. "The Best of Duke Ellington (1932-1939)" (Sony BMG/Columiba/RCA)--all 4 discs
  13. I'm in Seattle right now and went looking for Bud's today (not having previously seen this thread). The space is, indeed, vacant.
  14. Don't forget that this set also is being distributed by Universal. Although the Universal sets are not individually numbered, they are part of the 10,000 limit. As to how many Universal sets have been and/or remain to be sold, who knows? (Obviously, someone does. )
  15. The Complete Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Armstrong on Verve--all 3 discs
  16. Great. Now Ron's gonna gloat for the next 3 yrs. Naaaaaaah, I won't do that until after they've released the next two CDs, Funkadelphia and Greazadelphia (completing the Philly trilogy).
  17. With you guys, a couple of days seems like a month. Except for Alison, Zora, and Stella, of course. They--and Rachel--are welcome any time.
  18. Yeah, but I also gave you some real nice property with that:
  19. No, you change the title first, and THEN I'll donate $10,000--or any amount you want.
  20. But it'll be even more fair if the CD's title is Groovadelphia. (In case you were wondering. )
  21. I gave till it hurt.
  22. For anyone in the US looking for the Ellington set, it's now available for preorder at Amazon.com (to be released on 6/17/08) for only $12.49: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0018BF1GI The Waller set is also available for preorder at Amazon.com (again to be released on 6/17/08) for only $11.49: http://www.amazon.com/RCA-Original-Masters...3694&sr=1-1
  23. Chris, I changed it--try it again. And then click the arrow to the left of track 15 (if you dare ).
