  1. OK, so I already have that Banerjee recording - just a different cover. Shows how long it's been since I've listened to it, so here I go. Still, the new cover on Old Heaven Books looks nice.
  2. Yeah, this one was a constant with me. My introduction was thru the jazz DJ Earl McGhee back in '72. Still love it today.
  3. Douglas W. Allen? Sure, it's wonderful, if you're comfortable getting your info from a quackpot.
  4. Thanks a bunch for that link. Especially excited to see the Banerjee recording. Seeing him live many years ago was a real treat!

    Frank Zappa

    He did.
  6. I swore that when I got this (“galaxie”), that I didn’t need yet another Henry box set, but it does have some works not available in any of the others and he rarely disappoints me. His “Apocalypse de Jean” is my second favorite piece of music in my whole collection - has been for 50 years.
  7. Just keeping it to jazz, there’s a Manhattan Transfer album called “Extensions” along with that good Jamal album mentioned earlier. Plus an ICP Orch. album called “Extension Red, White & Blue” and these as well:
  8. I’m reading an article and the guy in it mentions having a “Drop and Go” card from the post office where he just goes in and drops off his parcels and runs his card and he’s off. So, I’m looking this up and find out he’s in the U.K. - oh - so, I start checking if we have anything like this here in the US (temporarily forgetting about our hijacked system here), so, yes, there’s something similar in Canada, but nuh-uh - not here. I remember doing all kinds of convenient things at numerous Deutsche Post locations in Germany, so am I correct in thinking that there’s no such system here in the US? Closest would be just buying a prepaid Visa or somesuch?
