Love revisiting this excellent album of gwo ka from 1988.

Well, this isn't easy because there's so much, but off the top of my head... Oh, heck - I'll throw this goody in there too. It reminds me of the time when I went with the late guitarist/violinist/cornet player Daniel Scanlan to see Blades live.

Yeah, It's the Sy Oliver tune "For Dancers Only" as the very first track, but it gives the impression that it's a solo piano album to those who wouldn't know any better (besides ignoring half the tracks on vibes).

Yeah, for some inexplicable reason, it's been recently re-released as "Piano for Dancers Only."

I wish his solo albums were as good as this. Too short, but good work that he should've pursued more.
