I was a BIG Leon Thomas fan at this time - hardly even knew who Syreeta was.

I was thinking of him yesterday. Remembering the time when I had a choice at a club to see Syreeta upstairs or Leon downstairs.

Frankie Paul (1965 - 2017)

When I got the LP version a couple of weeks ago, it was really beautiful to see and was a reminder of well-done, large (relatively, since mid '80s) cover art. They also sent a larger than usual postcard that reproduces the cover without text and a personal "thank you" with Sharpie-drawn Luaka Bop logo.
