  1. Good luck for next season, Gary!
  2. Thanks again, eric. I'll look into that, but I'm curious now... I returned to the page that got me to thinking about (yet another) new browser (http://www.gbase.com/Common/LegacyBrowser.htm), and I had even forgotten that "Opera" is apparently another option (assuming I can download it successfully). I think they're offering version 6.0 of that; and as I said above, Netscape (I'm pretty sure it's version 7.0). So, would anybody have an opinion regarding a choice among the three browsers mentioned here? Sorry to hijack the thread, BTW. I'll return it soon. ← Opera 8 is now available from Opera (choose the free download - click on the download tab at the top of the page).
  3. Sorry, but we're out of olives.
  4. Everything else's OK, I hope...
  5. Technology hasn't gotten to the point where we can remaster people. Though some of these old rock guys have suffered from excessive noise reduction. Guy ←
  6. I did ask them. I received an email back, that they have no plans on running a sale at any point. ← Well, there's the answer to the question in your first post if they totally stopped doing this, then.
  7. ? This is a "Buy It Now" sale, with a fixed price.
  8. You might want to do a search on the Steve Hoffman forum about this CD. Led Zep's CDs, both the early reissues and the later remasters, have been discussed exhaustively over there.
  9. That's right; TOCJ-1628 was remastered by Ron McMaster and Wally Traugott at the Capitol Recording Studios, Hollywood.
  10. Unless you want to quote the post you're replying to, of course
  11. This upgrade is definitely an improvement. Thanks for all the work you've done lately, Jim. By the way, I noticed that the "Donate" button is missing. Can you fix that?

  13. According to this Steve Hoffman forum thread and this Steve Hoffman forum thread some of the Classic reissues seem to have problems.
  14. Well, maybe if you don't like RVGs... The Connoisseur is a different remaster, of course.
  15. I've recently bought a Mosaic from Adam. Nothing but praise from me, buy with confidence!
  16. Well, I got an e-mail from Hip-O a while ago that their stuff was only available through them, and that they're not shipping to the EU. I noticed that Soul Music's price for the Motown set is slightly higher than Hip-O's; could it be that they're buying it from Hip-O and reselling it?
  17. Happy birthday.
  18. Hi Dave! No problem here.
  19. Exactly. Didn't Jim Alfredson recently ask not to discuss burning copies of copyright material publicly? I think this thread should be deleted.
  20. PayPal is fine with me, the more so since checks are not an option for me - checks aren't used in the Netherlands, payments are made in cash or by electronic transfer (using bank or credit cards) over here.
