Last hint! (I'm really surprised you haven't gotten her yet.) This is what she looked like about 1968. It's Linda Thorson, of course!

I tend to look upon the two films as one unit - the ongoing story of the Corleone family, presented in two parts. Years ago, the films were resequenced in chronological order for a network showing, and they also worked well that way. The less said about Godfather III, the better.

Let's not make assumptions about all landlords. While what you say is true about many, my landlord is actually a good guy, who bought the property 10 years ago, and told me at the time that he eventually wanted to move his restaurant (which he was renting) into my location. He also told me that he would give me ample warning when he decided to make the move. He kept his word, and it is only because of unforeseen obstacles that he has decided not to move at this time.

This is one of my all time favorite live recordings. Hawk & Roy are in great form. The Verve CD which came out a few years ago contains both the mono and stereo versions, which are from different concerts.

I just read that TNT has cancelled this show after two seasons, citing poor ratings.

Obviously, one goes after the more common releases first in one's pursuit of recordings by favorite artists, but I know the Al & Zoot Fred Miles LP, and it's a real winner. Btw, it was reissued on Zim in the early 1980's, so one doesn't have to pay a premium to hear the music.

Considering the amount of hot air and excess verbiage that occupies so much of the action around here, I think the birthday wishes are a nice touch. Why is it that the guys who are the most petulant, insecure, childish or unappreciative are the ones who are the most likely to insist that they don't want to be that way?

I've owned this LP for many years. The high point for me has always been the Ella & Louis stuff.

I came to this show late after hearing rave reviews from friends. Started in the middle of season 2, and after the season ended, discovered that both seasons are available for free at Comcast On Demand. We now are two thirds through season 1, and we are totally loving this show!

Actually, the Discovery LP reissue also featured the remaster. Presumably, the Discovery CD contains the same remaster that was on the LP. Definitely an improvement over the original Atlantic LP. A very fine session - I used a track from this on my Blindfold Test a while back.

Very strong session - rarely discussed. Nice to see that I'm not alone in my admiration for this record.
