Got it today and kinda skimmed through both cuts, first the original and then the director's cut. I'm glad this thread exists, because that director's cut confused the HELL outta me! I remembered watching this some 20 years ago at a friend's house, completely straight, and couldn't understand why I wasn't remembering the modern graphics! Anyway, I really dig it (thanks, AB!!!). My only complaint is that there isn't much in the way of footage of Roger's bass playing. That, however, is made up for with a plethora of Nick Mason drumming!!! MMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!

CD Universe has clips for the 4/26 releases. The Krupa/Mulligan set sounds beautifully lush; that's one to get! The Cugat sounds like cheesy lounge muzak to these ears; probably skip that one.

I know! He's had more good starts this season than he's had in his entire tenure with the Rangers leading up to this season! And even though he's a Yank, my hat goes off to Randy Johnson (even tho' he clobbered us today... dirty @##%^$^$@&$@!*): he took time out to mentor to a young Ranger pitcher on Saturday. Apparently, they met and discussed mechanics, drills, workouts, etc. Very VERY cool in my book. I guess he figured that, since Nolan Ryan did the same for him when he was a struggling young pitcher, he wanted to pass along the wisdom learned. And Dan, yes it was SO sweet beating Kevin Brown the other night! Gotta love it!!!
