  1. The Four Marx Bros. Paramount box Arrested Development, Season One Wacky Races We got my dad the W.C. Fields Comedy Collection, which I anticipate borrowing once I’m through with all of the above!
  2. I'm sure you're not comparing Reggie White to Hitler ! Nonsense. I'm comparing people who apologize for Mr. White to those who do the same for a Hitler. A bit of a stretch, but there's nothing cool about White's stoopid remarks. So far, the number of those attacking White for his remarks FAR outnumber those who are apologizing/defending his remarks.
  3. Good gravy, this is just damn hilarious: people saying vicious and hurtful things about a dead man who said vicious and hurtful things while he was living. May we all hold our tongues when it’s your turn. My God, some of you sound as if he was going after “sinners” with fire and brimstone. And you judge him based on the sound bites. This from folks who never even met the man or spent even a second with the man. Did you not read the quotes from those that did? Some of you sound damn glad he’s gone. Unbelievable.
  4. Did you get my PM about "Six Views?" You NEED to hear this one!
  5. Happy Birthday Moose!!!!
  6. Oh..... wow...... I feel like I've stumbled upon a treasure chest of FUN!!! As if I didn't have enough to do.....
  7. Got this set for Christmas, and so far have only listened to disc two (Jams #3 & #4). Lovin' it so far. Basie & Co. really blaze up a storm on these jams!
  8. Dat link didn't woik, doc!
  9. You and Jim R are on the right track with this.
  10. Merry Christmas to all. May you be blessed with peace, happiness, and the Mosaic Select of your choice!
  11. I needs to get a copy of your BFT! I'd love to hear it! Especially for you, my friend! Merry Christmas, and be thankful I didn't choose track 17 from that CD instead!
  12. DRAT!!! This was one track I was hoping to fool y'all with! Good call, Marty!
  13. Dude, I'm still waiting on your address!!! PM it to me and I'll send it out ASAP!!!
  14. Track 18: AAAUUUUUGGGHHHHHH!!!!! This is gonna drive me nutz! I should KNOW this tune! I've got it somewhere in my collection, I wanna say on an Ellington album, but that doesn't sound right! Somebody PLEASE provide a link for this one!!!!
  15. Again, with the kind permission of mmilovan, let the festive discussion begin! Once again, no real surprises expected but if the holiday cheer comes through, then I'll have felt like it was a success! And in the spirit of rampant PC-ness, Merry Hannukwanzamas!!
  16. With the kind permission of mmilovan, I am starting the discussion for disc one of BFT #21. There's no real theme, other than just wanting it to swing and groove from start to finish. If I got that across, than I'll feel like I succeeded, because I fully expect y'all to identify each track on here! B-) Fire away!!!
  17. With any luck (and a few gift certificates), I'd like to pick up the Monk Prestige box to hear this session in its entirety!
  18. Science is some folks calling, others pilot a ship; my mission in life simply stated is... a moustache on every lip! :rsmile:
  19. ..... ( ) Hey Al, see if there's any fastbirds in the garage. That's the only kind I have! I'll be hiding under the covers again if anyone needs me.....
  20. You got THAT right. What a treat it is to see him live, he looks like he’s got a few extra arms flyin’ around back there with him!
  21. I'm in no hurry myself, obviously. However, I only made three or four emergency discs. In all honesty, I drastically underestimated how quickly my BFT discs would reach people. The mail, for once, was much faster than I anticipated. Please folks, if you haven't had a chance to listen to this wonderful BFT, please do so (and comment if you have the chance) before digging into my BFT! I guarantee you, mmilovan's BFT is waaaaay cooler than mine! I oughta know! B-)
  22. That's not fair!!! I knew I shoulda sent it out by carrier bastbird!
  23. Damn, cuz they sound like a bunch of DIRTY old greeeazers!!! Speaking of old greeeazers, anyone ever pick up Jimmy Smith's SIX VIEWS OF THE BLUES? Now THAT is some baaaad greeeeaze!!! Cecil Payne's baritone is so down & dirty!
  24. It's weird, when Family Guy was first aired, I watch a few episodes and didn't really get it. But... I bought the DVDs earlier this year. Wow! I LOVE that show. I still can’t stand that show. Now, if it was something like “The Adventures of Stewie,” I’d be all over that in a second. But I absolutely despise the “father” (and I use that term loosely). I know he’s supposed to be a clueless loser, but to me he just comes across as a bad Homer Simpson ripoff.
