I only have the domestic RVG of this title, and I've never cared for the mastering on it. I've been looking for a TOCJ of this for quite some time, not knowing if there ever was one to begin with. Does anyone know if this is a different mastering than the original TOCJ? At this price, I'm very tempted to just say "heck with it" and buy it anyway. Have you heard it? If AMG is to be believed, this sounds like it's right up there (or down there) with Elegant Soul. I hope it's better than that! I have an LP burn of that, I enjoy it...like all of Reuben's Blue Note dates...take that as either a recommendation or a condemnation depending on what you think of my taste. If it's like BLUE MODE, bring it on baby!!!!! If it's like LOVE BUG, that'll be cool! If it's funky, good enough for me. If it's a radical departure, thanks but no....... Well, I listened to it via Rhapsody. Sad to say, it's none of the above. It's just..... there. Don't think I'll be getting this one.

Well, thanks to Hurricane Gustav the temp the last couple of days has been in the 80's. Supposed to be low-mid 90's this weekend, cooling down at night. Hopefully no humidity, too. Perfect September baseball weather, IMO.

I just can't get into this album. Maybe it's because I have the attention span of a flea, but these songs just go on too long for me and never really get all that interesting.
