  1. Sorry for the misunderstanding, it’s my fault. The track is omitted only on the booklet, but present on the disc. forgive my english…
  2. I really started buying jazz records only at the very beginning of the CD era, when I was about 30 years old. An older friend of mine, a real "cat," was my Pygmalion. He bought many CDs for me in England or directly in the U.S. I think the first box set (if I can call it that) was the wonderful Ellington's "The Blanton-Webster Band," four discs of pure joy. In the following years, I was really an addicted: I often purchased box sets only for the beautiful package (i.e. the Billie Holyday's Verve), and in some instances i discovered music i didn't know at all and so the boxed sets expanded my horizons... I'm very grateful to them!

  5. My set "departed FedEx hub" in Memphis, TN today at 5:28. Hope to have it in Italy into the next week. I can't wait.
  6. Mine is still in Memphis, TS, according with the Fedex tracking, due to avverse weather, if I understood well. Bah. I made an error, I should have chosen Portugal or Spain.

  10. Just arrived. Disc 2. Great transfers.
  11. Is this a real improvement of the sound quality? I have all the previous editions, and the Off The Record: The Complete 1923 Jazz Band Recordings.
