  1. NOW you tell me!
  2. With regard to the text color problem I'm having, I'm noticing that (with some effort) I can select any of the colors from the top row, but nothing from the other six rows. Strikethrough... cool, seems like I've wished for this feature on a few occasions. =

  4. YES. Great to see it, Jim, thanks. Man, I just tried the new "text color" button and all kinds of weird stuff started happening. Anybody else? I'm on Mozilla, fwiw.

  10. ...they're actually slightly different, being nit-picky. The New Posts shows you the threads that have been added to since you were last on the board. Whereas the Today's Active Topics shows you all of the threads that have had activity in the past 24 hrs (or since midnight maybe?). There are times when I want to re-visit a thread that was active earlier in the day, but doesn't show up in the "View New Posts" search (and I don't automatically recall which Forum it was in, or I'd just go to it). If it weren't for that, then I'd probably be happy with just the "View New Posts" option. To me, the "Today's Active Topics" is (was?) one of the best things about this board's software, and having a TAT link on every page was extremely convenient. Navigating and keeping track of threads and thread activity is so much more simple here than say, AAJ. So... I'm hoping it comes back. As of right now, I'm getting back to it via my browser history trail, and then refreshing the page. BTW, I think it was at the BNBB (or was it the original Org board software?) that the TAT page refreshed automatically every time you went back to it, which I always liked.

  18. Fortunately the Warriors bounced back from this loss (and they really deserved to lose considering that they played like crap for most of the game) by beating Portland. They just have to survive two more weeks and they get a break in the schedule. ← Yeah, the W's were crappy bad against the Bucks. 90-87 is deceiving- it wasn't that close. We've been playing some bad ball at times, yet we're still hanging close through most of those phases thanks to some improved defense (defense? WTF is defense? ). If everybody (especially Dunleavy) can just groove their shooting a bit, and if we can start blocking off on the defensive glass, we're going to be pretty dangerous. Baron looked more comfortable against the Blazers last night, even going up for an alley-oop from Jason (there's a bassackward situation). Scared the hell out of me when I saw him jump that high, too. JRich had quite a game- a FUN guy to watch! I wish they could be just a little more consistent as a team, though. 34 in the opening quarter, and then something in the teens (?) in the second quarter. Anyway, 6-3 is feeling pretty good right now, and we would be 7-2 if not for the screwup in Chicago. Just curious- anybody seen the Sonics yet? I haven't done any reading on the subject, in fact I don't even know who took over for McMillan. Are they still running the same type of offense?

  21. One of my pet peeves as well. Obviously, the oddsmakers (and IMO, the minds behind the FIFA rankings) are not paying enough attention to what's been going on. It probably stems from outdated perceptions. I basically agree with Brad as well, but there's still a part of me that is perfectly happy to see the US underrated. Better we're underrated than overrated, and ratings will mean less and less as the big event approaches.
