  1. United Front - Ohm: Unit Of Resistance [RPM] Good to finally get a copy of this. Strong playing and music
  2. It's a fabulous listen. This is my introduction to her. I've being doing some research and she certainly seems rather special. The Play Loud! label seem to be doing her proud, including a couple of intriguing films. She's performing in London next month
  3. and again, once just wasn't enough. Such a great band
  4. I.C.P - Tentet - In Berlin [FMP]
  5. That's a favourite in this household. The EBB albums were all good
  6. Anima - Monte Alto [Play It Loud, 2015] beautifully presented reissue of some fascinating music
  7. Another fan of them here. If you like Coleman's studio albums of the period you'll be fine with these. If you don't know the studio albums then be prepared for an amount of spoken word/rap on a couple of the concerts
  8. A great song from an unjustly overlooked album, Tom and Crystal were made for eachother!
  9. I bet. I would have liked to see that. The Necks play London about twice a year but I'm not sure Abrahams has done so solo
  10. I'll be in for the Naura for sure
  11. There are at least two other threads where Mr. Nessa answers questions about dates/pressings.
  12. Oh Yes! Love that album, one of my early reggae purchases
  13. Ornette Coleman - Dancing In Your Head [Horizon]
  14. Was onlylistening to that last night. My introduction to Mr. Holley. Impressive release
  15. Just reissued on LP by Pure Pleasure
  16. The Pathé is the Penny Black mine's this one. Maybe Mr Nessa (or Clifford T) can enlighten us as to why so many different labels in 1970 alone
  17. Art Ensemble Of Chicago With Fontella Bass - s/t [America]
  18. The Sea Ensemble - We Move Together [ESP] Another of today's arrivals getting its first spin. So far, so very intriguing
  19. That's just very good indeed. Never heard of these folk until this thread. Will be hearing more of that album if I can track down a copy
  20. John Gordon - Erotica Suite [Everland reissue] Art Ensemble Of Chicago - Les Stances A Sophie [Nessa] so happy to finally have this on vinyl. An important album in my journey to Jazz, hearing 'Theme De Yoyo' over a club sound system in the early 80s and having to ask the DJ what it was
  21. MUMPS has never done it for me. Suspect expectations were too high...time to listen again
  22. Peter Brotzmann Sextet/Quartet - Nipples [Cien Fuegos]
  23. Fred Katz - Folk Songs For Far Out Folk [Warner Bros]
  24. Thanks. I'll be looking out for other dates now. It would seem that Jazz-Lab 2 demands higher prices, especially if in Europe. Can't be for the cover, or maybe it is
