  5. that and the calendar of 2005 is the same as that of 1994 (safe for some holidays) 2006 will match 1995, also 11 years difference. 2007 will match 2001, a 6 year difference. 2008 will match 1980, a 28 year leap. 2009 and 2010, like 2005/06 will match the calendar of 11 years earlier then again 6 and 28, 11, 11, 6, 28...

    Whenever I've heard Rolf Kuhn, he's only played clarinet. I know some recordings where he plays alto when he was still with the Orchestra of Radio Leipzig.

  19. many space age pop writers wrote some seriously good music. it just seems that the instrumentation often doesn't throw that fact in your face. plus that the "jazz" audience mostly wants to hear cool dudes solo, not strange guys write weird tunes. I will not seek out Butterscotch right away, but the title has been stored in the back of the brain. I'll run into it sooner or later.
