Except that monetary aid is more likely to get re-directed for other ends, wittingly or not. At least the risk is there. And there can be alot of hidden admin fees that suck up the money. You'd be surprised at the amount of your dollar that goes to overhead/admin costs when you make donations to charities in this country.

Judging Zappa on the basis of one or two select albums is a mistake. You shouldn't be so quick to dismiss something you obviously aren't familiar with.

This whole thread started because you wanted to know whether this board is open to illegal downloading (I assume so you could try to set up trades with other board members). You yourself said you do it, and said you only purchase specific titles legally of the ones you've illegally acquired. When informed of board policy, you then said you wouldn't share copyrighted material here: You sure don't sound like a "physical album guy" to me. You sound like one who occasionally purchases a CD, amongst your hundreds of illegal downloads. What does "to the best of my ability" mean?? Does it mean those rare occasions when you actually have money to spend on a real cd? Being a "poor college student" probably means that doesn't happen that often.

Don Shula: Spygate would mar Pats' undefeated season Don Shula, the coach of the only perfect season in NFL history, believes the Patriots have a legitimate shot at running the table and joining his '72 Dolphins in going undefeated in the regular season and playoffs. But if they can pull it off, Shula insists the NFL needs to place an asterisk next to the Patriots in the record books because Bill Belichick got caught cheating in the Spygate scandal. Not quite. Dallas will trade those two first rounders in order to move up to #5 in the first round from NE. This is the current projection for San Francisco's spot, which was traded to the Pats last year. If the Cowboys could get Darren McFadden by doing that, I'd be all for it.

I'm not settling. I know there's room for improvement. I still think the team's for real though. I'm happy with where they're going right now - and 2 first round picks in the next draft as well. They're fun to watch though, and it's been a while since that could be said. And they seem to be enjoying playing again, too.

How do you think this is ok to do, Mr. Baptizum? Jim & co. will likely never make their money back on this music because it's being illegally shared.
