I like this album a lot.

Charlie Mariano presents an interesting mixture for me. He has and continues to be a be bopper, a beautiful ballad player, & also plays music very unappealing to me. Thankfully, this album us dominated by some very beautiful music, with just perhaps 2 tunes I can skip over.

Bob Cooper has long been a tenor player who has not received the recognition he deserved.

While Shirley Scott is primarily known as leader for her organ work, I am a fan of her two piano trio albums on Candid.

I have been reading from Jazzbo the harsh winter weather he has been having. Here in Southern Arizona winter seems to have passed us by so far. We usually have had a couple of days below freezing by now, but we have had none where I live. Though chilly in the early mornings, the temperatures in the afternoon have regularly been in the mid to high 70's.
