  19. It´s curious that Django, being Les Paul´s favorite guitarist, recognized Les Paul as his main influence on electric guitar. I remember reading this in the liner notes for RCA/Bluebird "Djangology" (recorded 1949 and a good example of what you mention, Allen). Will check it.
