  1. Such a great set. Desert island material for me. Wish mosaic would put out more unreleased treasures like this. Yeah I love that record as well. I had the RVG but bought the Tone Poet anyway. Herbie is definitely standing out but the whole band is great.
  2. Yeah it tends to get overlooked a little but it’s one of his finest on Muse
  3. if I had to name the ugliest cover art in jazz I’d definitely select this one in my top 5. Fortunately the music makes up a lot
  4. I get this and do the same with Birds Dial and Savoy stuff.
  5. If youre ever around here always welcome to come and taste one
  6. Some of my favorite Shaw with one of my favorite craft beers from the Netherlands. A good way to start your weekend

  8. Must say I was surprised to when I first heard he had so many issues with drugs and alcohol. You just don’t get that impression looking at him or listening to him. Not a great taste either yuk Jagermeister…. sad what these substances could do with such great people.
  9. Thanks for sharing guys. I wasn’t even born back than so always great hearing such stories!
  10. When I got this one I found out the CD contained extra tracks…. Would have gotten the cd if I knew before purchasing.
  11. That Shaw isn’t my cup of tea. But I definitely still enjoy the Woody box. And I’m not referring to Woody Herman
  12. Yeah that's Albert Ayler's piece. The fact that it was recorded at Coltrane's funeral gives it an extra emotional feel. I did not know Ornette's play was also recorded. Thanks Chuck.
  13. The last one from the big haul from Japan. Very, very satisfied with all these great Japanese pressings. Part from a single pop or click on just a few of the LP's they were all in very, very good condition
  14. And will I get the one and only donor badge?
  15. Situation made me clear how easily this board could vanish. Made a donation as well.
  16. great music on ugly white vinyl. Not sure yet if I like this reissue. Wilens saxophone sounds very sharp.

Thanks for reminding. Definitely interested in this one. Ricky Ford was doing wonderful things those days. And I love Steve Lacy in these kind of settings.
