  1. Perhaps, but the phrase "There's been a study" does not in itself inspire confidence anymore in the social sciences, or should I write "sciences"?
  2. Accompanied by the sound of barrel scraping. I was really surprised to see this listed.
  3. If CD Japan starts selling these I will add some to my next large order in July or so. I thought Muzak's mini LP reissue from 2019 of Marion Brown's Porto Novo sounds better than the recent Hat ezz-thetics reissue (which I downloaded a FLAC rip of and cursorily compared).
  4. Yes, the two (?) subsequent albums are disappointing.
  5. Different tempo. Not so extreme a difference as the alternate of Witch Hunt on Speak No Evil released for Blue Note's 75th in Japan though.
  6. I ordered this in anticipation of the release of the following in October
  7. What's Greek for mañana?
  8. Starting with Trompeta Toccata. The SHM-CD added too much compression causing a very booming bass. This is just sublime!
  9. As I explained, it's not a courier service. It's an international shipment being diverted to offer businesses more competitive rates through a rival national postal service. Another photo to illustrate Jazz Messengers' outstanding packaging:
  10. It's here! No Brexit, no cry!
  11. This 'always believe a woman' nonsense has gone way too far anyway. As if women can't have a sociopathic streak.
  12. That's a bummer the TNT option is no longer available. PostNL has a similar arrangement for Belgium, where businesses (from Flanders) can have their international mail picked up once or twice a week at more competitive rates than the national Belgian postal service can/will offer. There apparently is a similar arrangement for Spain now that bypasses Correos.
  13. Jazz Messengers shipped your parcel to The Netherlands and from there to Greece? Strange. I take it you took the regular mail shipping option (EU orders below €120)? PostNL is not a courier service, but evolved out of the former Royal Dutch postal service (PTT). Three weeks is too slow (if tracked), I agree, but you cannot expect 2 working days delivery either from a national postal service. I always place an extra item in my cart if necessary to reach the €120 limit to qualify for the TNT free courier service option.
  14. TNT? It's owned by FedEx (USA) now, and will soon change into that entirely, I believe. Mine's out for delivery now. Athens being the capital of Greece, three weeks is extremely slow. Your country is no longer in lockdown, right? Jazz Messengers has also started offering DHL Express next day delivery.
  15. No, but it sounds glorious.
  16. I certainly won't stop listening to what I already got.
