  4. One of my dearest albums in the early Seventies was Gato´s "Under Fire" (Flying Dutchman) Exciting music with excellent sidemen, among others Airto, John Abercrombie, Stanley Clarke, Roy Haynes and Lonnie Liston Smith. Highly recommended!

Some favorites: - Chet Baker´s live version of Haden´s melancholic ballad "Ellen David (Nightfall)" with Ake Johansson trio "Live in Sweden" - Duo with Kenny Barron "Night and the City" - My dearest of all: "The Art of the Song" with Alan Broadbent´s hauntingly beautiful string arrangements, plus ravishing vocals by Shirley Horn and Bill Henderson. And then Charlie´s fragile singing "Wayfaring Stranger" on the final cut...
