  1. Absolutely. However, don't we all usually know which are the albums that were produced by fellow O members? This suggestion, valid and sensible as it is, makes more sense in forums with a bigger member count.
  2. A stall in a farmer's market? A quaint little place in Baghdad?? Walmart??? What's the most bizarre place you bought Jazz Vinyl/CDs in?
  3. Chet Baker Day in Oklahoma
  4. Yesterday received: Five w/Von Freeman Today received: Byrd/Adams Mosaic + Randy Weston mosaic select
  5. Don't forget Sabir Mateen! Both of them together should be a great show! btw, got you a FREE ticket!!
  6. Not on Friday night, but on Friday afternoon: an anonymous lass (well, it's Einat, my wife)
  7. Bentsy, man: c'mon! both of us know that Tel Aviv is just a plain ugly city. No fancy photos can fool anyone who visited T-A. Great cultural atmosphere , sure. a fun city to hang in out, right on - but UG-LYYYYY!!!!!!!!! Now Jerusalem on the other hand...
  8. It's a good thing it didn't hit you in the third-eye place...
  9. RIP mr. Bauer. We'll celebrate your life and music.
  10. What about editing? Can I post only once and edit that post to death, thus bypass Jim Sangrey?
  11. The total includes PMs as well, I believe.
  12. NICE!!!!
  13. Many more happy returns, Kevin!
  14. A super belated birthday wishes, Bertrand. Hope you had a great b-day
  15. Yep, pretty good clarinet playing was recorded. ← Pres also sang "Tea for Two"...
  16. Apparently, one can live to an old age with such things:
  17. I believe free market assumes equal information to all players. This is clearly not the case here. I, for one, still haven't received Mosaic's last brochure and had I not been reading this board I would have missed this set altogether. Now, I don't think *this* is fair. Sometimes it irritates me that Americans tend to forget that there's a whole world outside their borders. It especially bugs me, because it's a common knowledge that Jerusalem is the center of the world!!
  18. I have 2 question for those of you who listened to the album: 1. From the lineup it seems that this album is a more "Jazz meets Vietnamese music" than Aftermath. Is that so? 2. Does Bang continues his journey into from Free Jazz towards mainstream Jazz in this album as well?
  19. Some Jazz albums just ask for turning up the volume. Any favorites?
  20. Hang in there, Conrad. My thoughts are with you and your family.
