  1. I have probably 1,200 albums in discsox. I created a template to add the leader/group name and have them filed where I can flip through like a Rolodex.
  2. Yeah. I think everyone here got their copies. I did pre-order the 3 vinyl releases last summer (?) and have written them off as a loss unfortunately.
  3. Sonny Rollins - The Bridge
  4. Markus Rutz - Many Moons picked this up on a whim from Dusty, due to the inclusion of Greg Ward on it. He's only on one track but it does include Sharel Cassity on a handful of other tracks which is a plus. On first listen I really enjoy it. Very modern compositions, in the vein of Roy Hargrove's Earfood if i had to compare. My jazz listening isn't as frequent as it used to be so I may be off with the comparison.
  5. Daniel Rosenboom - Book of Storms
  6. I got the cd of this from Dusty Groove for $5. Dusty must have had a source from an old distributor or something, they seemed to have a ton of Muse cds for that price a few years ago.
  7. Same. I have never once seen a record I want missing the OBI and thought, "I'll wait til I find one with the OBI.
  8. I agree. I appreciate these posts. If something interests me I will listen to it myself. I don't need someone to tell me their impressions to make me want to listen.
  9. They didn’t do Purple Rain for some reason. The last one was Diamonds and Pearls. I agree the SOTT is awesome. I have two of the 1999 sets because one had two “vault 2 tracks” CDs and is missing “vault 1 tracks”. If you’re interested let me know.
  10. This is me as well. But I’m sure there are people who are excited to see this come out and I personally love bloated deluxe releases. As someone who owns all the Prince super deluxe releases, I like seeing these releases do well in hopes they keep coming.
  11. Spinning now after I picked up the re-release of Prince - Come on vinyl today because I was wanting to hear it and couldn't find my CD.
  12. That’s pretty disappointing but not unexpected. Sounds like they know the issue but don’t want to rectify it. Giving the download is the most cost effective remedy.
  13. I emailed Resonance on Friday regarding the CD issue. No response.
  14. Surprised it hasn't been mentioned yet but William Parker - Crumbling In The Shadows Is Fraulein Miller's Stale Cake also Roberto Miranda - The Creator's Musician
  15. I got my Dorham in today. Went straight to track 7 and my player (Emotiva ERC-3) stopped at 0:59 and then started skipping. I'll rip it and see how that sounds. There sure is a lot of tape noise on the the track 7 I heard though. Was expecting it a little cleaner. Edit: Okay this is freaking bizarre. Track 7 on the CD sounds like ass but the rip sounds great. WTF is going on with this pressing?!?
  16. My sentiment is the same, which though I’ll be disappointed if I don’t get the LPs, I don’t feel like this was a malicious money grab. I partially preordered them in hopes it would lead to more releases.
  17. I noticed this as well when I went to see if there were any updates on my LP pre-orders.

    Gary Bartz

The solo on there goes the neighborhood’s On A Misty Night is my favorite solo of all time. It’s magic.
  19. Good to see there might be movement on my pre-order from last January.
  20. Is this the new RSD from resonance?
  21. Yeah. I’ve been in both of those bargain basements. I was on a bit of a time crunch but DG’s basement was a bit overwhelming in compactness and organization.
  22. I mean most of the series shipped so if it was a scam it was a terrible one. i preordered the 3 LPs from this summer. Bummer if I don’t get them but I’ve wasted money on worse dreams.
