  1. Jeff Chan w/ Tatsu Aoki & Vijay Anderson - Perspectives and Francis Wong - Legends and Legacies II a follow up to his 2004 release Legends & Legacies.
  2. Francis Wong Trio w/ Tatsu Aoki & Chad Taylor - Early Abstractions There is a deep and strong love for Francis and Jon Jang in my heart for creating AsianImprov. This release, though not on the label is stellar.
  3. Tina Brooks - Minor Move
  4. Where can I find more information on BRIAN?
  5. Huh I’ve never had an issue. My order shipped the same day.
  6. https://store.bluenote.com/collections/spring-cleaning-collection-2023 Was surprised to see the Lee Morgan Lighthouse and Ornette Coleman sets at 40% off. I picked up the ornette since I only had New and Old Gospel already in an early cd issue.
  7. Limited to 250 copies. Pre-order Here This 2 disc set documents a legendary concert at the Immanuel United Church of Christ - November 26th, 1978. This is the first time that Nimbus founder Tom Albach had attempted to capture the Arkestra in their own environment and boy is it a doozy! About as raw and deep as it gets. Jesse Sharps here at the peak of his powers as Bandleader and Arranger, not to mention the playing, jeez.. this is a side of the Ark that has not been properly heard- until now… disc 1 JUNGLE JUICE (30:50) BALLAD FOR SAMUEL (21:29) disc 2 LATELY’S SOLO (24:44) IF YOU COULD SEE ME NOW (8:38) TO THE GREAT HOUSE (21:49) LIFT EVERY VOICE (1:58) 2CD SET in gatefold slipcase with notes by Tom Albach and Mark Weber - this will be the first in a series of releases documenting the entirety of the I.U.C.C. recordings looks like some vinyl is on sale as well.
  8. Used buyee for a couple Masabumi Kikuchi albums I wanted and it was very pricey.
  9. Pat Patrick and the Baritone Saxophone Retinue - Sound Advice
  10. Teaspoon and the Waves
  11. Whoa that's a huge set. Never knew about it until now but I actually could see myself buying that and then questioning why I did it. There have been many times where I have been on the verge of buying one of those large Ken Vandermark sets and not pulling the trigger. I like Vandermark but not that much and I know I would not devote the time to it I should. Same reason I have stayed away from the Braxton sets aside for the Charlie Parker one.
  12. I didn’t know decluttr had a website. I’ve on bought from them on eBay
  13. I could see that as an advantage over Apple Music but the fact that my library is uploaded to the cloud and accessible through Apple Music still makes it the best option for me
  14. $40k for a buescher regardless of who’s played it is wild.
  15. the Hoffman board had surpassed 1000 pages on this topic.
  16. No. But it sounds good.
  17. Christian Scott - Anthem
  18. I ordered from Bandcamp a couple months ago. It arrived two weeks ago but haven’t had a chance to listen. Hopefully will I get it spun tomorrow or Sunday.
  19. Bandcamp Friday is back for the rest of the year. Picked up a couple releases.
  20. That’s a great question. I’ve only got a few Venus releases and don’t find any of them particularly interesting.
  21. Good to see Joe Manis resurface
  22. On the contrary, governmental work is so slow to change it is more likely we’re all gone off this blue marble before a change is ever made. Even that tool DeJoy was only able to temporarily damage the already poor service of the usps, and that was his only objective.
  23. I haven’t watched any 45 RPM Audiophile videos. I’ll check it out. I only watch about a third of Espositos videos. They only channel I consistently watch is Channel 33 RPM because I really like Frank and they are short. I follow Noble Records but never watch it anymore.
  24. Esposito’s YouTube is a good watch most of the time and he does irritate a lot of people. I started watching him when he was dragging ERC for their quality. He made a good argument. The beef with him and Fremer was hilarious. Fremer is a tool imo. He’s the quintessential audiophile dork. I just can’t believe Esposito is only 37… I would have guessed much older.
  25. This might be my favorite breakdown of everything. Spot on Hutch!
