  1. David, That Reed show should be very good. I would agree with Free for All that the Green Mill is very cool.....although a little smokey for my taste!!! I saw the Deep Blue Trio there a week or so ago with Bobby Broom on guitar; killer show. Made this image on the way out! m-
  2. yes.....I like Pink Floyd and saw their performance at Live 8; thought it was pretty good. I grew up on this stuff as a middle-teenager.....before I discovered jazz! Mark

  6. I'm making my first trip to the Monterey Jazz Festival later this year. Although I've been to Monterey several times, it was never while the festival was going on. I'm sure many of our board members have been to the festival before.....any tips or great stories to share? Anyone going this year? Thanks! m-

Come on Chris....look around, there is lots to celebrate!!!.......family, friends, some good jazz, baseball, hot dogs....apple pie!!! m- ← You're right, but I celebrate most of that on a daily basis...well, maybe not baseball... ...and, come to think of it, maybe not hot dogs and apple pie (though I love both)... ...then, too, not much family left.... ...but I have an abundance of true friends... and, yes, they are worth a chronic celebration!! BTW Also look forward to our country getting back on track. ← ...attaboy, Chris!!!
