  1. R.I.P. Guido Basso was an exceptionally fine player who I also had the chance to hear live several times. He didn't record a lot under his own name, (he was well featured with the Boss Brass), but there are a couple of recordings he co-led with altoist Dave Turner and this one which I will listen to soon. w. Frank Collett, Andy Simpkins and Terry Clarke

  5. πŸ‘ Now: One of my desert island recordings, no matter how small the list may be. πŸ‘ Every Basie Roulette is wonderful, IMHO.
  6. πŸ‘ πŸ‘ πŸ‘ I haven't heard this one but Anderson's band was a really hot outfit. Have three CD's on the Sovereign label. Perhaps my favorite Rollins record. πŸ‘ Now:
  7. Thanks I'll have to listen to this one too. I think Herwig is an outstanding trombonist. Now:
  8. This was likely only on LP. Not on itunes sadly. Raoul Romero writes fine arrangements. Powerful. Now (one I seem to be listening to quite frequently):
  9. You can always order CellarLive CD's on-line. Fast service for Canadian customers. Cellar Live - The Finest in Live Jazz!
