  1. Another picture of her. Her name is Sharevich, I think.
  2. Top Board of Belarus. She would kick my ass at chess. She's a strong player.
  3. I might be higher rated than her. Will have to check after I finish posting these pics. She's on the Australian team. I'll have to check the names of these ladies as well. The site with the pics doesnt' give them. I'll look them up after posting all the pics.
  4. What makes you think the top ten wouldn't be nice looking? The Chess Olympics recently ended in Turin, Italy. These olympics are team events where there are four players from each country playing four from other countries. The nice thing is that it brings together chess players from around the world. It's the biggest gathering of the best chessplayers in the world. Dan asked for pics of hot female chessplayers. I say that some of them are actually the best players in the world. Others are lower rated (but not by much) than strong amateurs like myself. Here are some samples from several countries. Let's start alphabetically by country.... From Angola. $$1....stay away!!! She's mine!
  5. Get Zo in there and you'll have some rebounds and blocks.
  6. At first hearing, Tony's name just doesn't sound like it comes from someone who is a total badass on the organ, but there is no denying the man's sound. This guy is the real deal.
  7. Next time I call SS1, I'm expecting him to pass the phone to Sonny Rollins!
  8. Tony blew the roof off the place! This guy is a force of nature. I have no other way to describe him. His guitarist was out so he joined up with a local guitarist who did a pretty good job. He didn't do much comping but handled the solos really well. He didn't even know the lines to "Mellow Mood," but he was an excellent soloist. But when Tony plays, no other instrument can be heard outside of the drums. He just fills the room. He makes all kinds of facial contortions and plays every note with his face as well as with his hands. Often, he bends down over the keys and you can only see the top of his head. His playing style is very intense and he gives it 100%. I've got to see him again. Outstanding player. If there is a better B-3 player out there, I've got to see it. I think he's better than Joey D. Another thing which has been mentioned before, by Joe amongst others: Tony is very humble. He hugs everyone and compliments the other musicians when they do great solos. He's a very genuine guy and absolutely loves what he does. Great guy. If he comes anywhere to your town, see him.
  9. Tonight, 9-12. You have a gig, Jim?
  10. Hoping Joe can still make it. I'll be bringing some people up from Toledo. Anyone else planning to be there? GregK?
  11. Where the fuck is Zo? Heat needs him out there....
  12. Big Daddy doing a Big Ben on the free throw line. If Dallas wins this game (and it looks like they might,) I think they'll take the series. Too much scoring power for the Heat to match.
  13. cds have been mailed to Frank and Ken. Let me know when it arrives.
  14. No need to worry, Chuck. I doubt that you steal. You do suck, however....
  15. Cannonball Adderly, "Money in the Pocket" (Live at the Club in Chicago, 1966) great shape; great sound. $10 and I pay postage. $1 discount if added to any of today's other orders....
  16. For those who haven't yet paid for the cds.... do so by this evening if you can. I'm planning to visit the post office tomorrow and several of these are going overseas..... Thanks.
  17. You are such a fickle bitch! Aren't I though? (Depends on the mood I'm in when I come home from work.)
  18. I had the Jackie Mac on JRVG already, so I only bought the Blakey and the Andrew Hill. I didn't care for the Blakey after one listen. I really should have given it another spin, but I've just sold it off.
  19. Everything gone now. Thanks! I might have another cd to offer shortly....
  20. Art Blakey, "Holiday For Skins" still available.
  21. prices are net. I'm covering postage costs to USA. Art Blakey, "Holiday For Skins" Connoisseur Series just out. Played only once. $12 Jimmy Heath Quartet, "You or Me" Steeplechase. $10 Bill Evans, "Waltz For Debby" K-2 remastering $12 Bill Evans, "Sunday at the Village Vanguard" K-2 remastering $12. Take off a dollar on every cd after purchasing more than one. Peepal preferred, but can accept other forms; just no baseball cards as trades, okay?
