I love what the Pats did in the first two rounds. They picked up whom they believe is the best running back in the draft other than Reggie Bush in Lawrence Maroney. And they picked up whom they believe to be the best wide receiver in the draft in Jackson. They picked up Texas TE in the third. They've got two fourth rounders waiting for tomorrow. Solid draft so far.

Don't know what happened, but I was trying to start a thread on this and the forum went wonky. Looks like I'll be going with someone who has never seen the band before. There's a possibility of a few others, but I have to get hold of them first. Anyone coming in from out of town?

Ricky has just been suspended for another year. I feel bad for Ricky, who is perhaps too nice and laid back for the rough demands of the sport, but I like it when the Dolphins suffer! To those who might know: what happens to Ricky's salary during a suspension? Do the Dolphins get a break on the cap, or does it count towards it? (I hope it counts towards it.)

No, I don't think that makes sense. What I was thinking is if you pick the Spurs to beat the Kings in 7 you get 5 pts. If the Spurs beat the Kings in 6, or lose to the Kings in 7 (you are off by 1 game), you get 3 pts. If the Spurs beat the Kings in 5, or lose to the Kings in 6 (you are off by 2 games), you get 1 pt. Guy Not only can't I figure out who'se scheduled to play who in the next round, I've got this advanced calculus to figure out! No doubt a good idea, Guy, but I'll leave all the scoring up to you guys...
