I don't give the Greatest Hits disc a spin often, but it makes a regular appearance in my player every four or five months, so it's probably gotten a lot more play than some of my so-called favorites. Great sixties pop, for sure!
The screenplay I'd like to see is the one about the idiot who thought he could get away with a $2Mil extortion. I mean, heck, anyone who watches TV knows you go for a few grand, then come back for more, right?
I just found one of my favorite animation shorts on You Tube and had to share!

I should point out, by the way, that this thing is about thirty years old; don't expect the latest slick production values. Um...I should probably also point out that the first time I saw it involved purple microdot...
Well, I tried the second one, but only for a few minutes. It's just too painful to watch; whenever Carell is on screen, I'm in 'permanent wince' mode. I'll have to try the British version.
I know what you mean; I keep hoping someone comes up with the answer. But yeah, Kornbluth and Brown seems like the right direction to search. I'd say maybe Sheckley, but it seems a bit "down" for him.
Wow. Growing up in Georgia, I was kind of obligated to choose between Wild Turkey and Jack Daniels for some reason, with a "co-cola" mixer or chaser. Then some asshole gave me a perfect martini, and I've been chasing it ever since.
I think the problem is I know the other characters (or their traits; you know what I mean), but I've never met anyone even remotely like the boss.
Oh, shit. I just realized what this means. I'm the boss.
