  1. The only one I have is #20, Live at the Zoom Club, Oct. 13, 1972. Let's hear it for '72! A great year in rock! I should snag some of the other ones, but just don't listen to Crimson that much any more. Once in a while I'll work my way through the material. I am curious though, maybe I'l place an order with DGM this week. I have been listening to David Sylvian a bit lately. Steel Cathedrals, Gone to Earth, the Fripp/Sylvian material (obviously) has Fripp on it. Gone to Earth is so beautiful.
  2. Behold:
  3. I saw the photo of my town this morning. That photo has to be at least a year to a year and a half old. A lot of new land marks are missing.
  4. Happy Birthday and many more!

    Funny Rat

Where did he get that tan???
  6. I did a bit of google. Apparently Himangshu Biswas is the Jaltrang player. He also plays Santoor (hammered dulcimer, another South Asian tuned percussion instrument) on other recordings.
  7. 72-74 Crimson then 90s Crimson Still a hard call for me. '70's Crimson was very heavy and abstract, both harmonically and rhythmically. '80's Crimson was move ahead. Besides, I saw the '80's band six times!
  8. Himangshu Biswas & Dulal Roy - Jugalbandi (EMI-RPG CDNF 50153) Flute & Jaltarang no tabla player listed. a Jugalbandi is a duet. To my ears, this sounds like Hindustani (North Indian) music. A very cool sounding CD. edited to add comments.
  9. Eh...66-73? It's hard call just one year. King Crimson's Discipline came out in 81.
  10. Understood. I have listened to bits of it before, I will have to get the CD and get into it lot more. Here is another such thing along the same lines, called Jalatharangam ( tuned water bowls). It is intriguing as well. Aw...you beat me to it. I was going to mention them too. I have at least one CD of that music, if not more. I'll dig them out and scan the covers.
  11. Tabla Tarang - Rack Mountable Tablas and Bayas
  12. Sanjeev Kanitkar
  13. Still works for me.
  14. Hi 7/4 and All, I've been getting e-mail announcements of shows loading on the website link you provided 7/4, but everytime I try to access that page it gives me the old "Page Not Found" screen. Anyone else having this problem in accessing the site? Or, as I suspect, is it just a function of the "newness" of the site and all the bugs haven't been removed yet? Feel free to PM me if you don't want to discuss all this here (as soon as I get access to the site I've got a couple of nice shows to upload)... Cheers, Shane works for me.
  15. the return of the son of eztree.
  16. It was actually Nirvana: Howdy again, folks. The fax just came in a couple of minutes ago. The offender was torrent # 30630, NIRVANA 08/30/1992 Reading Festival Complete PRO Shot DVD. In particular the title "Smells like Teen Spirit", rightowner: Universal, claimed through Universal Music GmbH, Germany, and pro MediaGmbH (exclusive partner of IFPI in Germany). This is Courtney Love's fault!
  17. Sounds like it would be cheeper than a new 175. I wonder how a similar model Heritage costs. Time for gbase.com or google.com to answer my question.
  18. http://www.shrimatis.com/ has the EMI.
  19. I was searching around and it seems like the Folkways is easy to find. You can find the Wergo at Vista India.
