    I'm so tempted to get vol 4 & 5, but...man - do I really need it? I own all this on vinyl and CD, I don't want to buy it all again! Still own all that vinyl too, haven't played it in years. There's something so seductive about seeing those boxes on the shelf at the store.

    I have a bunch of their albums. A few of the Crumb edition, some of the guitar collections. I even went to a Starobin concert at Miller Theater back in the 90s.

    but I did see them around! I've been listening to to Mat a lot lately. I think he's so unique. I'm particularly crazy about So What? (hatology 529). He really comes up with some crazy textures from his instrument....man.

    For a busy bass player that plays a zillion notes, they always seem to make the most musical sense. I like his '70s work the best, but it's all good to me.

    A copy of Evan Parker/Paul Bley - Time Will Tell finally made it's way to my CD player, I'm looking forward to checking this out. I'm a big fan of the later Sankt Gerold.
