  18. I heard him at the Spiral (NYC), a rock club in the late '80s. Blackwell couldn't make it, so Cherry used the Everyman Band without Torn.
  19. I borrowed the set from a friend, heard the first two CDs this morning...a stunning set by Mahavishnu II.
  20. I read the book yesterday while I was waiting for the phone to ring, work is jerking me around a bit lately. I really enjoyed the book. Looking forward to the album, I'm curious what it'll sound like. Yes to Ian Gillan or Glenn Hughes!
