The Phillies Yankee game tonight has been postponed.

Thelonious Monk - Palo Alto (Impulse) --> fresh new monk!
Brad replied to EKE BBB's topic in New Releases
No, what I’m saying is that any careful lawyer will want to know the extent of Columbia’s rights. Apologies if that wasn’t clear. Now, I have had situations where our management decided to take a certain action despite my urging them not to do so. You can only explain the risks to people but if they want to take the action anyway, there is not much you can do (unless it’s clearly a violation of law, not necessarily the case here, which just involves contractual rights). -

This is all speculation but I find it hard to believe hat someone from the UMG legal department didn’t look into the issue of whether they had the rights to publish this. Again speculation, but they may not have had a copy of Monk’s contract with Columbia and didn’t want to tip-off Sony that they had this recording. I have been in situations where we couldn’t locate a contract for a third party and it can be difficult to legally obtain them. I have to think that their lawyers were careful and it was due to some other reason. -
Eight more players and two coaches have tested positive on the Marlins bringing the total number of cases to 14 so their opener in Miami has been postponed. The team has remained in Philadelphia. The Phillies players and coaches must be concerned. Perhaps starting the season was a bridge too far.

I haven’t seen a game with simmed crowd, just a few shots. Regardless, it’s the action on the field that matters. If you don’t watch to watch, don’t. No one is forcing you to do so.
-
Players testing positive was inevitable. The question is whether the teams and MLB can manage it. If they can’t, then the season will be shut down. That’s why I’m trying to enjoy what we are getting now because it may not last long. In addition, who knows what will happen next season?

The concept sim of the sim doesn’t bother me but it’s fake. Now, I know the crowd noise is fake too but it gives you the illusion the crowd is there. I know the sim does too but with the cutouts you know it’s an illusion.

Eddie Glaude has a book out about Baldwin that may interest you.

Sorry I meant GB, obviously not KBs. I think going to 256 GB is somewhat recent because I too remember 128 being the max. I have to think that an iPod Touch will work with the most version of iTunes if that’s what you mean.

I have to disagree about amps not being as good as they used to be because they’re better. It obviously is going to cost you money, though. You might want to contact a dealer, though, who can suggest something to fit your needs and budget. About 20 years I purchased an Arcam 75 and it works as well as ever.

Yes, here’s the Apple link, https://www.apple.com/shop/buy-ipod/ipod-touch/256gb-space-gray I haven’t used an iPod or iTunes in several years so I don’t know how the system works nowadays. I purchase a Sony digital music player but it wasn’t very compatible with my car’s audio system so I haven’t used it in a couple of years. I prefer CDs anyway.

Currently waiting, going on three weeks, Workingman’s Dead. Not sure if the USPS or Dead.net is to blame; the latter I suspect.

My classic gave up the ghost a couple of years ago. I think the only thing comparable from Apple is the iPod Touch. If you want the most storage (256KB), it’s going to cost you $400.

Chewy had developed a very good blog or website for Hank and I remember when it was hacked and he lost everything. He was so pissed, frothing (not that he wasn’t justified). -
Stupid Diaz strikes again. Gives up a HR that cost a game. Deja vu.

My son (who is an Angels fan) and I watched the game. A fun game to watch. Angels had their opportunities but couldn’t cash them in. That and the Céspedes HR against the Braves shows what we’ve been missing.

Same here. -
If there’s no catcher, the Mets are gonna be stealin’ a lot of bases. Anyway, it’s just their starting catchers. Alex Jackson is getting the nod. D’Arnaud ain’t that good anyway.

I haven’t seen one of these LPs for Unipaks but if the jacket held the LP as tightly as the Unipak cd does, it must have caused a lot of scratches. You can scratch a cd but it will generally play fine.
