  1. I know from having lived in Uruguay and Spain and stories that you don’t say something about a Latin person’s mother, unless you’re really asking for trouble. Even in jest saying something like “tu madre” is a recipe for trouble.
  2. It was the choice of smiley face that made me wonder. *** Although I have the cd, I picked up this LP at one of my estate sales earlier this year. Cleaned it and sounds good.
  3. I’m curious why you said this.
  4. I see Horace Clarke has passed away. RIP. He was a good player (him and Jerry Kenney) on bad Yankee teams and had the bad luck to play for them when the Yankees entered the wasteland.
  5. Hope she and/or you took it up with the authorities and hope she’s ok.
  6. Perhaps there are contractual issues to which we are not privy.
  7. You can probably thank that hack of a postmaster general.
  8. Couldn’t agree more. Why people don’t understand that mask wearing helps us beyond me. Actually, it’s not. It’s politics over science. It’s predicted that up to half of the population may refuse a vaccine. I wish I could leave this country, I really do. What a hellhole.
  9. I’m not a fan of people who don’t wear masks but you just don’t throw coffee in people’s faces. Frankly, I don’t bother to tell people they should wear a mask. I’m not interested in confrontation and they’re not going to change their minds.
  10. That’s hardly a reason to agree with the approach, because he was there. I have to agree with Jim.
  11. Do Santa Fe and Rio Rancho have similar zip codes? If so, that happens sometimes.
  12. Is that ftfym65? If so, that is true. You buy the cd, then they get the cd from the supplier. I’ve used them and had no problems.
  13. Go for the cynical side.
  14. I was offered that choice on a couple of CDs I purchased. I think it was $25, which was more than I wanted to pay.
  15. And here I thought the Mets were bad! MLB Fielding Statistics
  16. I understand the annoyance with receiving a dispatch notice and then a cancellation. However, I’m not sure I understand the annoyance with not receiving an apology from a big company as they’re meaningless. It’s not as if they’re heartfelt; they’re just pro forma. In addition, CDs shouldn’t have been out in commerce anyway so those who received them should consider themselves fortunate. One thing to remember about Japanese listings is that there are still problems with the Japanese PO sending packages to the US so it may be awhile before you receive it.
