I came across this picture of a 1979(?) on the Musica Records label (MUS 3014). I can't find track listings to compare it to other releases, and I haven't found the album listed in the usual places under either leader's name. So my friends, what is it? Has the music been released elsewhere under a different title? Does anyone own it? Is it good? Should I have peas or carrots with my steak tonight? Thanks for all responses - reverent or otherwise.

so you do think he took steroids, and therefore he did commit perjury. you don't think they'll be able to prove it, so their efforts to do so amount to a witch hunt?

Mistrial Declared in Cat Shooting Trial The Associated Press 2007-11-16 19:57:43.0 GALVESTON, Texas - The trial of a prominent birdwatcher accused of animal cruelty for shooting a cat ended in a mistrial Friday after jurors couldn't reach a verdict. Jim Stevenson, the founder of the Galveston Ornithological Society, has admitted he shot the cat last fall because he saw it hunting a threatened species of bird near the San Luis Bridge Pass. If convicted, he would have faced up to two years in prison and a $10,000 fine. The trial sparked an Internet debate between cat lovers who decry Stevenson's actions and birders upset by the toll feral cats take on bird species. It's also raised questions about what makes an animal a pet, especially if it lives outside. Jurors deliberated for more than eight hours before the judge declared the mistrial. "The jury was hopelessly deadlocked, so the government has to decide if they are going to waste more of taxpayers' money trying this again," said Stevenson's attorney, Tad Nelson. "But they can try this a thousand times and they will never get a guilty because he didn't commit a felony." Nelson said his client thought the cat was a stray. A state law bars the killing of domesticated animals without the owner's permission. But prosecutors argued that a toll bridge worker took care of the cat and named it "Mama Cat," effectively becoming the pet's owner. And they say Stevenson could have easily realized that if he'd looked around the bridge before firing. While the jury deliberated, Stevenson told The Associated Press that he thoroughly researched local and state law and thought long and hard about what he should do before he killed the cat. He said he decided to shoot it because he believed it was a threat to the birds. He added that he felt sorry for the animal. The bridge, Stevenson said, "is a revolving door for cats. Dozens and dozens of cats go through there and disappear. They're getting run over ... they're getting killed by coyotes. It's no life for a cat out there." A revision of the cruelty law that took effect Sept. 1 broadens protection to stray animals, but it does not apply in Stevenson's case. -
you're not putting your faith in bonds' innocence, but in the hopes that it won't be possible to prove his guilt.

so, do you think it's possible that he's already killed other people's pets that were unfortunate enough to wander onto his property? -

Unless you forgot to add a smiley face or the like, are you're saying that Walt Whitman wrote science fiction? nah, i was just hoping that joe had borrowed the title from ray or rod, rather than from old walt. -

no, not equal footing, but i do believe that non-human animals have more rights than those that human animals bestow upon them. maybe: ...where he operates a bed and breakfast for some of the estimated 500,000 birders who come to the island every year. -

an animal's worth is judged by whether or not a human has assumed ownership of it? it all boils down to property rights, not animal rights? that's why thousands of pet owners couldn't sue for more than "replacement value" when their animal companions were poisoned to death by pet food manufacturers. as catesta pointed out, cats killing birds is a part of nature. cats aren't responsible for pushing these birds to the brink of extinction. maybe the cat-killer (he also admits killing many other cats on his own property) should start picking off people who ruin the environment for the birds. he's already got a defense on record: “This is about wild species disappearing from your planet,” he said, adding, “I did what I had to do.” -

i like all animals. okay, maybe not cockroaches and mosquitoes, but they never want to cuddle. this guy criticizes "cat-lovers" as having little respect for birds, but it seems to me he's guilty of the same offense in terms of cats. what's more, he uses this logic to justify, and even take pride, in his actions. if convicted, he won't get the maximum penalty. i say convict the arrogant sob and sentence him to community service in a cat shelter (but watch him like a hawk). -
