  1. Well at least one person is listening to it here, it's got to be listenable. YouTube or I'd pay $10 or so to listen. 😊
  2. It's on cd too, double whammy!
  3. Where did this record come from? WOW! So looking forward to the expanded edition. Just in light to a previous post, yeah, totally yeah. Candids. Great stuff.
  4. This one went in the trading bend. Not my favorite at all. I like his Novus/RCA Sextett stuff more. I know you known him, recorded him, had a beer with him, but far, sans the Novus/RCA material stuff mentioned above, after AIR, I'm trepidatious. P.S.: I have that AIR record. Great stuff.
  5. 👌 is some of the best live RRK, period. Now: Tal:
  6. So my son (16 now) asked me to play Miles (he stared at the wall, while were playing pool above; that's been there for years). We started with "So What" He dug it...WOAH! Coolest night of my life!
  7. Right by Tina Brooks, playing it next. But a great story to tell.
  8. 😎 Oh yeah, so glad to have picked up Black Beings for that very reason too. Concerning Atlantic Ornette, right, there were some gems that sat in the can, and seemingly, if you don't own the box, or expanded editions, they're scattered all over the place, e.g., Twins, To Whom...etc. At least Columbia released it all at once, with a "come and get it", mentality.
  9. What a gift, this shit is sick: Yeah! If you have the double CD, wow!! Really, the coolest compellation of everything Ornette was doing in 1970, love it!! My go to, before the Atlantic's, great stuff.
  10. I give up, I just can't get my computer to cooperate.
  11. Nothing's wrong. This how a LSP sounds to Trane a minute he records it.
  12. Still blown away by this performance, no way, a rehearsal of a Love Supreme. Glad its out there. I have it and I like it. Anything from Ornette, pertaining to Atlantic, historically important.
  13. Judging by the picture, not on CD? Nevertheless, never seen this one, and I like later Simmons, especially the sessions he recorded for Quest.
  14. Shared sentiments. RIP Mate.
  15. So happy to nab this one in the West Coast series. Now: Unlikely of places to find this, picked this one up at a largely rock-orientated store. Great stuff, that Atlantic stuff is. Yep and Yep. Wickedly cool. So happy to have landed a Beth/Rhino copy. Love this stuff! Because I was binging on McLean at the time this RVG came out, I landed on this beauty.
  16. Have the same concern/let-down. Would really like to see the signature sleeve art reproduced and to have it presented as a total physical product. Only two I have:
  17. I own the Sabotage box set from this series, and can attest to the high production details-outstanding! I don't own this one, and would jump on it, but $105 is still a little outside my budget. I hope it finds a happy home!
  18. You'd think Miles would've scribed this on "Tones for Joan's Bones" or something, instead of his own reissue with no Chick on it. Give the kid some credit, for fuck's sake.
