Just keep in mind that this is primarily a discussion forum sponsored by the leader of an active band who also has a solo career inside the music industry. Found this Wounded Bird issue at a library sale for a very good price. I need a good price for most Ellis things, but have no reservations at all about picking it up when I do. This one is no exception. Ellis was not necessarily "deep", but in no way was he cheap either. Definitely somebody who had a vision and set about making it happen. I think it's a tribute to that vision that his music never really goes away. People keep rediscovering it in pockets here and there.

I've looked at your posting history since joining, and it overwhelmingly consists of letting people know that you have items of interest and advising them to contact you directly. There's been no effort (yet) to engage in just musical discussion. Even though you're not explicitly offering items for sale, you're certainly letting it be known that you have them. Your earlier comments about copyright laws and jail indicate that you know you're on shaky ground. I would be within my rights as a moderator to flag you as a spammer right now. That would disable you from posting any further until the board owner, Jim Alfredson, reinstates you. You would have to make your case with him directly, and I can tell you right now, he's a busy man. As it stands now, you've let it be known that you have a YouTube channel - nothing wrong with that. On that site, you energetically let it be known that you're open for business - that's between you and YouTube. You're welcome to post your You Tube videos here, but going forth, you will need to refrain from using this forum to "advertise". The product you're offering is not the type that Mr. Alfredson officially endorses or to otherwise be associated with his brand. We know where to find you on YouTube, ok? Post your videos here and talk about the music itself rather than your product and you're welcome here. If that's cool, here we are. If that's going to be a problem for you, let me know right now and I can save us both a lot of time.

Ok, just remember that. If you want to buy /sell legit commercial product here, that’s fine, as long as it’s in the appropriate forum. But open trading in any other type of material is not allowed here. It will not be tolerated, and you will be blocked from posting here. I would choose my wordings about such items very carefully. Sure Serena can do wrong. She did wrong. But that's a separate point from is there really a double standard? That's a question that is bigger than Serena, and if not looked at and addressed if/as needed, will still be there after she's gone. And she will be gone at some point, she's an athlete.

Ok, with some time to process this, let's stipulate to bad on-court behavior. A fine was levied, and surely will be paid. End of that story. Serena can afford it. Now, what about this perceived double standards of allowable behavior between men players and women players? There seem to be some voices saying that it's a legit claim. If it is a real issue, then this should easily turn into case of somebody who can afford to make that noise making it in the most visible way. Not that that was her intent in the heat of the moment, but still, pay the fine, admit to on-court behavior unbecoming a true champion in defeat, and then keep calling out the sexism. I remember when everybody loved to hate McEnroe. Now it seems that a lot of people hate to love Serena. I think she's an awesome athlete, period. Take away all the externals, you still have an extraordinary athlete, period.

Dude, I would back that puppy up ASAP in the most serious way possible and only play that going forth. If this is a real acetate, CT's advice is sound (no pun intended), they're not built for the long haul. And maybe this item is already worn to a certain degree. It's sounds like you scored a serious piece of serious history, so...proceed accordingly! Just saying, sleeve type is not the critical factor here nearly as much as is long-term availability of the "data".

Also amazing how physically involved Stitt's playing was. Most of what I've seen has been later stuff when he was older and probably more compromised by various ravages. The Stitt seen here looks very much like the ready-at-the-drop-of-a-hat gunslinger of legend.

I don't care for her hair style. I like the first announcer better in every way. Griff's a mofo though, Griff don't need no hair, even though he has it and it looks great.
