  4. Like? I personally think it's an exquisite monument to Reactionary White Butthurtedness, especially since it's totally unrelated to what really happened. Never forget, that's my motto!

  6. The Jazz Times streaming TV platform is sitting there with initial content as part of The Bebop Network app, and has been for several months now. The app also takes you to other streams for the other Madavera publications. Initial content is a mixed bag, but there are definitely some items of interest. Not a lot of new content yet, though. The actual magazine itself... Don't know, don't care

  10. Damn. I was afraid that this was coming, but was hoping with all hope that it wasn't. One of the most original and individually insightful voices in my lifetime. RIP, and live forever.
  11. They were American pressed, not Japanese. Any serious record store had at least some of them, and could order any of them . The big box is what was Japanese. The Japanese reissued of the 12" LPs didn't come along until the 1980s or so. Verve as a non-reissuance label had petered out by then, but in the early 70s, their Bird catalogue was available. Many iterations over the years, and still cheap: https://www.discogs.com/label/582254-The-Genius-Of-Charlie-Parker
  12. I never understood treating PayPal like a bank. But some do!
  13. Mr. Today Eye - Dozens Of Killed People
