  1. We've seen her twice. Very engrossing both times. Will go again when the opportunity presents itself.
  2. The Ready To Go Boys - Sitting Here Drinking Your Wife's Good Coffee!!!
  3. I took them seriously for decades, and probably still would if I ever again have a need to think of them again. No guarantees on that one, though.
  4. Fixed income carpeing strategizes differently than ongoing paychecks carpeing. It would be SO much easier if I knew how long I was going to live. I mean, yeah Lacy/Shepp, of course. But it's three tunes + an alternat and some breakdowns for $40.00. The intrinsic attraction is definitely there. But the fiscal attraction is not. A few years ago, yeah. But that was then...
  5. I can't afford that for this.
  6. Wash is back! Too bad it's the Angels...
  7. Tommy Lick - The Songs Of Forever, Again & Again

  9. Maya Rudolph Wilma Rudolph Pebbles Flintstone
  10. You're forgetting the 1924 Senators and the Twins of 1987 & 1991!!!!!
  11. Not strictly a "solo piano" record, but imop this is an essential document for many, many reasons: https://www.discogs.com/release/12218798-Willie-The-Lion-Smith-The-Memoirs-Of-Willie-The-Lion-Smith
  12. That MPS date is a bit late in the game for both of them...
  13. Best wishes for a graceful transition.
  14. When applicable, do their offerings count against the artist's account as promotional expenses? That's an old record club/company trick.
  15. Dusty Groove? Returns are not their forte. Only had to try once, and try was as far as it got. Once was all it happened, and it was years ago, but my lesson from the experience was caveat emptor. I still keep that in mind with each and every order (of which there have been many).
  16. This is a record club, right?
  17. Same site reports: The Texas Rangers are likely going to be in the market for at least one starting pitcher this offseason. Stroman joins a free agent class that includes, among others, Aaron Nola, Jordan Montgomery, Lucas Giolito, and Sonny Gray. Resigning Montgomery is Job #1 imo, but who else on that list might be worthy? Giolito faded badly in the second half, and how old is Sonny Gray now? Nola, I don't know
  18. Per: https://www.lonestarball.com/2023/11/4/23946421/mlb-rumors-eduardo-rodriguez-opts-out-becomes-free-agent The Tigers and the Los Angeles Dodgers agreed to a deal at the trade deadline this year that would have sent Rodriguez to L.A. However, Rodriguez exercised his no-trade clause, indicating that he did not want to disrupt and uproot his family mid-season. Rodriguez and the Tigers have been engaging in negotiations, per reports, and there seems to be a pretty decent chance Rodriguez ends up returning to Detroit on a new deal.
