its 1:50 am, went out to get a drink and some tacos, ending up rifling through the trash, beneth a dirty undershirt and some stinky poo poo pants diapers, look what was there: THE WORLDS GREATEST MUSIC SERIES "POP" JAZZ: an artia-parliment industries, inc. prod. catalog no. WGM-2B HIGH FIDELITY. VOLUME 2B: which is discs 6-10. as stated on the labels: "from the catalogue of roulette records. birdland series." disc 9 is the real interesting one....check it out! a new addition to the mobe discography, WTF. (the trks from the mon. night at birdland stuff)

just got this 1st pressing japan cd, wowowow. wait 1st off i was not even aware of this album, was it released on Columbia USA lp? there is GS-1 all over it, and it sounds like it- it is kind of bob james's 'prog' album, this is not the theme song to taxi in any way shape or form

i have this one on Catalyst records, w/ joanne brakeen and azar lawrance- sound is horrible but theres this one cool blakey drum like he used to do with the band on percussion. and yea....morris levy, dude.

sorry its almost over (or over if you live by Brownie's zone) but the man himself, the H to the ANK. all day today. have on dippin' mono. hoffman is right there is no way the mastertape sounds like this. these records like sound good ON RECORD, but the real blue note is directly on the mastertapes. i will not be satisifed till ive heard it directly from the mastertape. before i loose all my hearing i want to experience this. theres has to be some hookup somewhere. michael cuscana is mad at me. i asked him 1,000 questions in a letter and then asked 75 questions about something he mentioned about the Frank Wolff BN Photo Archive, he never responded to anything. i was very polite and nice and told him how much i admire his positive impact on bluenotes legacy,
